Our most detailed Combat Class saber to date. The Mitsurugi 3K is a beautifully crafted and superbly balanced saber inspired by real world sword hilts, with enough gripping surface for a true two handed hold, and light enough for single handed combat. The Tsuba, or handgaurd, is large enough to protect against errant strikes, but not too obtrusive to detract from the design or overly add to the weight. This hilt is pre-anodized with type 2 black anodizing for a durable, gorgeous wet black finished with contrasting areas being machined back to bare metals. The sound is vented through a unique pommel design with panoramic vent slots. Currently, this saber is a limited run, but based on response we may add it to the permanent line up.

Looking at the pics on this site does this saber no justice whatsoever. It has to be seen and held to truly appreciate the craftsmanship that went behind the machining of it.
In my honest opinion, the Mitsu is the best hilt amongst the other combat class hilts available. The minute details alone separate it from the others.
Not only does it look aesthetically pleasing, but it also handles very, very well be it with a polycarbonate blade or the Ripper katana blade I specifically commissioned for this. Out of the box, it was responsive. No changes in configurations were needed. I only had to change and add 5 more fonts.
For those who got the Mitsu, congrats. As for those who missed it, I highly recommend it should it ever be made available again.
Great job VV!

The detail on this lightsaber is exquisite! It's so comfortable to hold anywhere on the hilt. It's so light compared to other sabers I've held, almost like a toy!
The sound is loud and perfect. Can't wait to put in some custom fonts.
I love this saber..

When I received my saber it amazed me the it was an exact mirror image of the picture online. But picking it and holding it makes it hard to put down. There is a lot of detail and it's all smooth no ruff edges. You can really go one or two handed. Also for dueling the recessed buttons. The sound is really is great.

Keith here again,,
I have been in possession of my 3K for over 3 months,,, OMG
Again as stated this is the BEST engineered piece of art .
I personally own some 30 Sabers from different fabricators in this industry.
Vaders Vaults Master Crafters is not even a remote embellishment,, these folks are true crafters,, these Sabers are not assembled there molded from the inside out , its like the hilts are folded over and over again to ensure core stability.
I truly hope Vaders Vault re releases the Mitsurugi 3K or and upgrade from th 3K "if this is even possible" I WILL PURCHACE ANOTHER ONE,, heck I want another one now :)
To the Masters of VV Well done mates. Its a great privilege to own a piece of work that you obviously care enough to take the time it takes before releasing them to us .
note I would be proud to have you sell your works of art at our event

The photographs from the website and the Youtube videos on this saber cannot do it justice. A trully beautiful piece with so much detail. Handles effortlessly. Long wait for fulfillment, but holding this beauty more than made up for this. We'll done Vader's Vault!

The Mitsurugi 3K is my first custom lightsaber purchase and I am pleased to say that I am very impressed with the style and quality of this saber.
The design and level of detail makes the M-3K stand out from other sabers and sounds amazing - I find that the preloaded "Imperial Knight" sound font really suits this particular saber.
All in all - a fantastic piece of work from Vader's Vault.

Being a fan of the look of the Samurai 3000 swords but not the way they are made I had to have this hilt. Vader's Vault has made a piece that leaves its own inspiration in the dust. This is a plasma sword for a true techno samurai. The detailing is really amazing for a product at this price. Vader's Vault has managed to keep the hard edge high tech feel of the design without leaving any sharp edges. The lines and screws that texture the grip areas only add enhancement to the grip not distraction. The hilt is super light weight btut very solid feeling and looking. The blade lights super bright and the sound is so low I can feel it vibrating the main switch when it's on.
Let the force users hide in their galaxy far far away because it they come this way tech samurai armed with this Misturugi 3k will be ready to send them back.

ROCK ON VADERS VAULT

I've had this saber for a little over two months and wanted to put it through the motions before I made my review. This saber is durable. I've dropped this saber at least 50 times on dirt from 5 - 8 feet in the air trying new tricks/tosses and the hilt has only sustained minor scratches and dings. It has also been my primary dueler as well.
When my peers use my saber, the first thing they notice is the weight. It is far lighter than many other sabers out there. After dueling with it a little bit, the next thing they notice is the balance. With a 32" blade, the saber is balanced at the emitter. From there, a person can vary the grade and length of the blade to get closer to their desired balance point. Many other sabers have a hard time getting a balance point closer to the grip.
Aesthetically, the hilt is eye catching for a few reasons:
1. Sword based designs, especially with a tsuba, are not common amongst production lightsabers.
2. Those familiar with the source material will easily be able to see where the inspiration of this hilt comes from.
3. The detailing on the hilt is noticeable from a distance, which will make people want to inspect it more closely.
I am no audiophile, but I have no complaints about the sound. The hums are distinct and clear is calmer environments. The clashes can be heard in a windy outdoor setting. The saber also features blaster deflection, which can be a fun addition to a nerf dart deflection game, and lockup sounds for when you want to scare your household pet or bring more flair to your stage performance.
Vader's Vault is also known for how bright their sabers are. The only thing I'll say about this is when I am around other people with lightsabers and turn mine on I can often hear comments such as "oh, that one is bright" or "look at that his".
Overall, I am happy with my purchase and have had outstanding customer service from the VV family. I made multiple changes/additions to my order and each interaction was polite, positive and punctual.
The next time I am in the market for a saber there is no other place I will look.
